Boot Dip mats and or (or shoes) before or upon entering a clean (sterile) area, you immediately think of food production, like say an abbattoir or a dairy plant, right? Well, consider entering another country without the use of boot dip mats. And, of course, you would have an air of doubt, right?
Let us explain. A recent experience across the pond, in New Zealand, where immigration section experienced biosecurity scares and some massive breaches of contamination control without the use of sanitising boot dip mats, highlight the importance of control measures on footwear and clothing when entering a new country.
